1) Looking for a member interested in assisting a University of Florida PhD candidate research JLM's involvement in environmental clean up, specifically the Miami River and Everglades projects.

AJLI Seeking Candidates for Nominating Positions
The AJLI Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for open positions on the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee with terms beginning June 1, 2011. Governance positions are open to all Actives and Sustainers in good standing.

Therapy Dogs
Would you like to brighten up a child's day by giving them a book? Giving a book not only helps a child feel special but it is also something that they can use to help them learn to read and learn that books can be fun!
Please bring new or gently used children books to our first general meeting. We will be collecting them to distribute to the children who attend our Therapy Dogs reading program at Edison, Homestead, Pinecrest, and Liberty City libraries.
