Provisional News - April 2010
 The Provisionals are almost at the finish line with one month left to fulfill their requirements and become Active members for the 2010-2011 League year.
This is an exciting month for our committee as we prepare for commencement which will be held on Wednesday, April 28th at Calamari Restaurant in the Grove. We are looking forward to honoring the outstanding effort and work these amazing volunteers have put forth during these tough economic times.

Mentor Spotlight
Erin Blumer joined the Junior League of the Emerald Coast in 2005, and transferred to the Junior League of Miami in 2008. Erin's first placement was on ITN. For the past year, she has served as a Provisional mentor. Erin was born and raised in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. She received her Bachelor's degree from Florida State University and her law degree from Tulane University. Erin moved to Miami in 2006, and she has been working at the law firm of Packman, Neuwahl & Rosenberg since 2007.
Shawn Libman has been in the League since 2007 and has been volunteering since a young age. She previously was a member and Co-Chair of the Project Lift Committee. Her League experience started with a focus on community and she was very active with Lotus House. As a mentor she is excited to see her Provisionals represent the League through fundraising and in the community. |

JLM Annual Fund Campaign

- If a Provisional has fulfilled their General Membership Meeting requirement (attended 3 GMM's), attending an additional meeting will count as one make-up credit. Upcoming GMM - April 13th.
- Do you have a friend that would like to learn more about JLM and possibly become part of the 2010- 2011 Provisional class? Bring them to the April 13th membership meeting. Provisionals will receive one make-up credit for this.
- DIAD committee needs items donated for Mother's Day baskets they're putting together for ITN and ITS. Only unopened items will be accepted. Donations can include shampoos/conditioners, lotions, make-up, bathroom toiletries, spa products, etc.
