Thank you for being a part of the 2008 China Heritage Camp!  We received many wonderful suggestions and ideas for next year and have already established a "think-tank" group and have begun the preparations for 2009!   (The group pictured above chanted "Team Work, Team Work" while making playdough creations.  Great Job - that's what camp is all about!)

There were tons of activities for the campers:
-Arts and crafts
-Olympic games
-Language classes
-History lessons
-Terra Cotta Soldiers

*  The 2008 theme was Olympics and each child made and decorated a torch. 
 
*  The record breaking time for the hula hoop contest was 7 minutes!! 
 
 *  Sifu Ray Hildreth and his team taught Kung-Fu 
 
*  Campers learned traditional Chinese sports such as Chinese hacky sack, ping pong and badminton.

HIGHEST ATTENDANCE THIS YEAR AT CAMP 

This year's China camp was  the biggest camp in Dillon's history with 210 campers! The kids had a great time getting to know each other and learning about their heritage! Next year will be even grander!
