If you've been a Regent student for more than a day, you are no stranger to reading and writing. So why not make it fun?! Regent Undergrad now has a brand new way to connect with other students, sharpen your writing skills, and reach out to the community. The Regent Undergraduate English Club is gearing up for its first full semester and invites YOU to join!

According to the club's mission statement, the organization hopes "to bring fun, laughter, and socialization into whatever we do. In short, we wish to be a supportive network for undergraduates who have an appreciation for writing, literature, and faith matters." This is already happening through events such as the monthly children's story hour, the campus book club, and the "Paper Pals" program (fellowship and peer review for undergrad papers).

Stinky Cheese ManThe next event will be Story Hour on Monday, September 14 at 10:30am in the Village Community Room. Come join us to hear The Stinky Cheese Man by Jon Scieszka. For more information or to join, contact typeoh@regent.edu and check out the blog at englishink.wordpress.com!
