3-day masterclass retreat with Dr. Vijith
Subject: "Abhyanga with Mardana or Samvahana"
(indications, contraindications, methods)
During this retreat you will learn the practice of Abhyanga. There will be emphasis in which cases to apply which kind of pressure and which massage techniques to use when. Dr Vijith will give practical classes supported by indepth theory based on the knowledge from the Asthanga Hridayam.
Daily routine:
06.00: wake up and individual morning rituals like meditation, nasyam, yoga and a chai break. Dr Vijith will give instructions and support.
08.00: massage practice
10.00: brunch - vegetarian ayurvedic food
11.00: theory
15.00: chai break 16.00: massage practice
18.00: dinner - vegetarian ayurvedic food
Optional: participation of the evening rituals in the Babaji Ashram.
Arrival : Monday afternoon 17.00 Departure: Thursday evening
(after dinner and clean up)
