Please join Dia on Saturday, December 17, 2011, for a public reception at Dia:Beacon to celebrate the opening of Opus + One, the first comprehensive exhibition in North America devoted to the work of Paris-based artist Jean-Luc Moulène.
Museum admission is free on opening day. Free round-trip transportation will be available between New York City and Beacon.

Sue Tompkins Web Launch and Performance

In a new work commissioned by Dia for the Artists' Web Project Series, Sue Tompkins will put the energy and playfulness of her signature performances in the hands of visitors by sharing her writings as a web-based book with audio.
At the reception celebrating the launch of My Kind Book, Tompkins will perform Hallo, Welcome to Keith Street (2010) followed by a conversation with Dia curator Yasmil Raymond.
Sue Tompkins was born in 1971 in Central Bedfordshire, UK. Since graduating from the Glasgow School of Art in 1994, her work has been exhibited internationally. She has performed independently, as well as collaboratively, at such venues as National Portrait Gallery, London (2011) and Hayward Gallery, London (2011). She currently lives and works in Northamptonshire, UK.

R. H. Quaytman lives and works in New York. Exhibitions include solo shows at the ICA Boston (2010); Miguel Abreu Gallery, New York; Vilma Gold, London; and Silberküppe, Berlin; and a survey at the Neuberger Museum of Art in Purchase, New York (2011). Her work was also included in the 2010 Whitney Biennial, and her painting series I Modi, Chapter 22, was included in the 2011 Venice Biennial.
