Greetings!
We hope this newsletter finds you and your family doing well and enjoying the "lull" before the rush of the holidays.  They will be here before we know it! 

In this newsletter we are highlighting two events in Atlanta- a monthly TACA support meeting and a sensory friendly showing of a popular teen movie,  plus a fun contest sponsored by Easter Seals to highlight the contributions of people with autism in the workplace.  Enjoy!

TACA Meeting on November 11th

The local Georgia Chapter of TACA (Talk About Curing Autism) is hosting it's monthly Coffee Talk/Parent Support Meeting this Friday, November 11th from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. at Essex Bagels and Deli at
 11030 Medlock Bridge Rd, Ste 160 in Johns Creek.  This is a great chance to meet with other parents who are traveling this autism journey, also.  For more information, see TACA's website.
Fun Contest sponsored by Easter Seals and Google Sketch a Space 
Easter Seals and Google Contest

 

As one of the nation's largest providers of autism services, Easter Seals is calling on you to use the free Google SketchUp 3D modeling software to design a space that represents your dream job, career interests or plans for future employment.  The competition offers people with autism, those interested in learning more about autism, or those who have someone in their lives with autism an opportunity to celebrate the unique and critical contributions people with autism make to our nation's workforce.   The  Easter Seals contest page has more information.
