Are you interested in learning about tools that enhance your ability to produce great art?
Already have the best paint brushes or camera but still wanting more?
Corel Painter 12 just may be the answer.
Learning to use Corel Painter 12 will be a transformational experience, whether you are looking for a new profit center for your business, a tidier way to paint more often, or to unlock your own creative beast, THIS is the tool that can trigger the rising of your inner phoenix.
Once you have learned how to use the tools, the sky is the limit for creating traditional or contemporary paintings, collages and mixed media pieces.
Do not misunderstand. This is not a class in producing computer generated art, but an introduction to tools that emulate the brushes, chalks, pens, and fluid movements of oil, acrylic, watercolor, and ink media, among others. Understanding how to use these tools will unlock your ability to start putting your visions on canvas or paper AFTER you have refined them with less waste, mess and improved quality of time.
Join veteran traditional and digital painter, Suzanne Clem-Wheeler at Digital Arts Studio on Sunday, September 11, 2011 to learn about one of the greatest tools available to artists, Corel Painter 12. This natural brush emulation software makes creating beautiful art possible whether you are a longtime traditional artist or an artist being held back by hands that can't seem to master stick people! Your desire to create wonderful, interesting art and ownership of a computer is enough.
The class will be divided into three parts. The first two hours will be a general introduction to the layout of Painter 12, workspace set up, tips for staying organized and an introduction to the characteristics of popular brushes. After lunch we will learn about specific tools to expedite the process of painting digitally so that you can have the feel of success even if you entered the class unable to draw more than a smiley face. The last two hours of class will be an open studio where you will be able to work on projects and techniques introduced in the class with one-on-one, over the shoulder assistance. The last fifteen minutes of the class will be a guided tutorial on uploading your work to Digital Arts Studio, so that you can order a printout of your day's efforts.
This introduction to Painter 12 is suitable for students who have never used Painter as well as veterans, as version 12 is genuinely a whole new vehicle of improved tools and workspace options.
