You like me, you really like me!
We are very proud of our very own Clydette R Morton (that would be me) for being selected as a recipient for a scholarship to EventWorld 2010 in Baltimore, Maryland. Clydette was selected by the ISES Search Foundation and ISES International. At the conference will have the opportunity to mingle with other ISES members from around the country and take part in numerous educational opportunities. Also, as a selected scholarship recipient Clydette will be offering her take on the experience of EventWorld. The article will be published in the ISES national newsletter. |
Active puts it in down in the Dome!!
And 1 and 2, and reach and stretch....
Active, along with 300 others really worked it out for global fitness event. What better surroundings could you ask for to celebrate fitness than at the Georgia Dome where some of the most fit athletes in the world perform regularly. Right on the 50 yard line, the Lean Queen herself , Jane Fonda led the call to action for folks to take control of their health and take it seriously. People gathered at this inaugural event to work out with exercise legends like Ms. Fonda , Tybo king, Billy Blanks. the beautiful Denise Austin, multi talented Debbie Allen and the incomparable Mr. Richard Simmons. Entertainment included the Pointer Sisters and hometown rap hero Ludacris! Active provided the full production which included a line array audio system and video image magnification projected on 13.5 by 24 ft wide screens. This event was huge, garnering attention from media oulets like People.com and ESPN.
Active Loves The Kids!  So after Active did such an awesome job for the fitness event, word got out and we were right back on the 50 yard line providing propduction support for a 3 day conference that "showcases the impact of private giving on the advancement of pediatric medical research and patient care". The Dome luncheon featured Atlanta Native Jeff Foxworthy. (see picture ) Children On My Mind was the theme of this years conference that produced events in varying venues across Atlanta. The Cobb Energy Center was the venue of choice for another luncheon event and Pemberton Place set the stage for an awesome tented concert performance by the one and only Mr. Lionel Richie! The finale for this awesome conference was the black tie Gala hosted at none other than our very own Georgia Aquarium. The organization sponsoring the conference "was created to honor individual philanthropists and encourage increased giving, the program recognizes the critical role philanthropists play in assuring excellence in pediatric health care."
