Active's very own Matt Clouser was featured on CBS Atlanta recently, along with the team at Global Defense Seminars. This was same the same team that hosted Active's Meeting Planner Self Defense Class this past summer. See, we told you it was a good class. ;-).

Always in fashion...
Active constructed this show "venue" specifically for our client. This amazing fashion show featuring Oscar De la Renta's fall line was held in a high end department store in the exclusive Phipps Plaza. The cream colored walls were created with stretched cotton fabric over 14x12ft wooden panels, as well as the runway back drop. Active used 24 lekos to wash the entire stage and 25ft runway. Why cream? A little birdy told me Oscar hates white...and he was there!!
Did someone say open a window? Well, they did...
The opening celebration for Atlanta's newest IT spot Ventanas was nothing short of fabulous!
The who's who of Atlanta's hospitality industry came by the venue to get a sneak peak at what the venue has to offer. With lighting provided by it's exclusive AV company, Active, (shameless plug ;-), the mood was set and guests had a grand ole time. Catering was provided by several top companies including; A Legendary Event, Affairs To Remember, Added Touch Catering and Bold American. Absolute Entertainment provided the awesome music set that included a hot saxaphonist, drummer and Jeff Burninsky himself on the ones and two's. Absolute also provided the lovely champagne-hoop skirt wearing lady that greeted guests as the elevator doors opened on the 15th floor of the Legacy property. Button It Up Photography was also there to provide guests green screen photos and cartoon sketches for occasion keepsakes.
You have not been to an event until you have been to an Indian celebration. Guests of this 2009 Indo-American Gala themed Oscar Nite with a Bollywood Flare, were greeted by paparrazi as they strolled the red carpet leading to the festivities in the Grand Ballroom. Active had the privilege of providng our lighting, audio and video services to this 10th anniversary gala. Two custom gobos adorned the dance floor and back drop, along with themed lighting on the set and throughout the ballroom of the Westin Perimeter. We used two 7.5x10 ft screens for a video presentation and image magnification. Audio consisted of six PS 15 speakers, 2 monitors and a rockin DJ! This unique occasion MC'd by Suchita Vadlamani of Altanta's Fox 5 and comedian Tushar Singh, entailed a buffet style dinner catered by four of Atlanta's best Indian restaraunts, and dance performances including an entainer all the way from India! Speakers and guests of the evening included Congressman Tom Price, Monica Pearson of WSB in Atlanta, and Keynote Ben DeCosta, Hartsfield Jackson

Active hits the Big Screen!
...Or small screen, or even midsized. The point is Active is leading the charge with the purchase of the newest design in projection screens. In 2009 Active team members challenged ourselves to provide even better service and products to our clients. This challenge led us to InfoComm where we were introduced to the newly unveiled StageScreen by Draper. We were blown away by what Draper has developed. In short, we can now use a single frame kit to build various screen sizes. We can have a 6x8 HDTV screen or 15x20 Multiformat screen up ready to go in 10 minutes, using pratically the same frame! These frames are much stronger to0, outlasting the durability of traditional folding truss screens. So what does this mean to you, our valued clients? Faster set up times and reduced overtime costs! It's a win-win for everyone!
