We look forward to this unique indoor/outdoor venue hosting various events at its convenient Peachtree Road location. Vita accommodates up to 1000 guests networking to 350 seating, perfect for a wide range of groups and occasions. Tony LaRocco, owner of VITA has chosen C2 Eventz to promote, manage and operate this special events venue. C2 Eventz has been in business over 6 years. They have worked very hard to establish their reputation of ensuring each of their events is successful in every city. Joseph Vellaowner of C2 Eventz brings 23 years of event experience to the venue along with his "make it event" attitude. Active MVP...
Though he is a jack of all trades in AV, John Johnson is Actives Video Department Manager. John has been a member of the Active family for over 10 years. Beginning as a top notch audio visual freelance technician, John was one of Active's go-to guys. On show site, John proved, time and time again, that he was a highly skilled technician and professional. He soon joined Active full time to ensure our video services are always up to standard and cutting edge. Prior to Active, John studied Music and Music Business-Studio Engineering, at Abraham Baldwin College and Belmont University. He received his degree and began his audio visual career in various engineering and management roles.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Active life, John is a family man through and through. He is a full time husband and father of 4 great kids. | |

Last weeks 11th Annual Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau Hospitality Hall of Fame was celebrated at the Georgia Aquarium. Active team members Matt Todd and Clydette R. Morton were honored to be among Atlanta notables such as Mayor Shirley Franklin. Franklin along with hospitality greats; Clisby Clarke, Ed Paradine and Walter Wade were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Active Production and Design provided full service production including 3 9x12 video screens used for I-Mag and DVD presentations, full audio and lighting system and stage set design.
The Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame is an event created by the ACVB to recgonze individuals for their contributions to the hospitality industry. |

The sophisticated St. Regis
hotel in
Buckhead, Atlanta was the location of choice for this German organizations annual gala. The gala took place in the Astor Ballroom with prefunction being held on the Grand Terrace. Almost 500 guests attended this annual gala which included high ranking officials from the State of Bremen and the State of Lower Saxony in Germany.
Latin Fever- Partido con un propósito!
Being an LAA sponsor has it's privileges. Active Production and Design was a Gold Sponsor for this annual gala which meant we also got tickets to the bash! "I go to a lot of industry functions, but I must say this my favorite. I haven't danced that much in a long time!", Clydette R. Morton, PR/Marketing Director for Active. This years theme was Misterios del Amazonas. The Windsor Ballroom at the Intercontinental was adorned in foliage and lighting that gave the room a jungle like look and feel. The evening was made up of a silent auction, dinner, cocktails, a 10 piece band, DJ and several dance performances. High ranking officials and corporate executives including mayoral candidate Lisa Borders attended the event. Active supported the event with lighting, audio and video services. Proceeds of this event benefit the services of the Latin American Association.

Well my name is Active and I'm here to say...
Okay, just to be clear, if you ever start your rap with the above line, you have no skills! But if you have Active Production and Design on deck for this national hip hop awards event then you are a beast! That's right Active was in the house where the biggest names in Hip Hop strolled the red carpet leading to the Atlanta Civic Center where the show took place. Active produced all of the exterior AV design and applications used during the event. Attendees included big names like Jay Z, Busta Ryhmes, new comer Drake, Ludacris, R&B singer Monica and BET CEO Debra Lee. The show was off the chain!
(**Note to the unhip: Please do not use any of the lingo used in this article. Hip Hop slang is not for the novice. You should be well versed in coolness before attempting to communicate in this manner. Meanings change daily, someone could get hurt.)

Active hosted the first of what we hope will be an annual or semi- annual Meeting Planner Self Defense Seminar this summer at W Atlanta in Buckhead. Matt Clouser along with the team at Global Defense Seminars led the class that went through techniques that can help meeting planners and others get out of potentially dangerous situations. See Active In the News, above. All the attendees agreed that the class that they were able to take home useful information and had a lot of fun while doing it.
