SALADS FOR BETTER HEALTH

healthy saladAs the New Year draws near, you might be hoping to lose some pounds that have attached themselves to your body during the holiday season. Salads really are great way to lose some unwanted fat. They fill you up, and when you feel full, you are less tempted to throw away your latest diet plan.

However, if you have dieted a lot in the past, you may be thinking of salads as unexciting and likely the last thing you desire to eat right now - particularly during the cold winter when you might be yearning for some warm comfort foods.

So to help you get back on the salad bandwagon once more, remind yourself of the many positive benefits of consuming plenty of salads to possess better health, nutrition, and rapid weight loss.

USING MANGOSTEEN JUICE AGAINST INFLAMMATION

Mangosteen FruitWhen you cut your finger, bruise a knee, or catch a cold, inflammation acts as a friend, rallying the body's immune system to fight against microbes and heal the injury or illness. But when the immune reaction never shuts off, that persistent low-level inflammation irritates the body and can increase the chance of illnesses such as arthritis, heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

A diet high in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, spices like turmeric, magnesium-rich foods, olive oil, and omega-3 fatty acids will assist in reducing this inflammation.

Another star inflammation fighter is mangosteen juice.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Salads-raw foods-are a great way to help us digest and absorb foods and reduce inflammation. Studies show that eating raw vegetables lowers chances of breast, lung and colorectal cancers.

What great benefits that mangosteen fruit holds for us with its high concentration of antioxidants and xanthones.

To serve the bread pudding, why not try putting it in wine goblets.
