| Drift Boat Motor Mount
 < In the past, mounting a motor on a drift boat has been difficult due to the distinct transom angle. Hyde Drift Boats has eliminated this problem by creating a lightweight platform that slides over the transom of most drift boats. The unique design provides superior strength, since it is supported on both sides. Pro Staff Fishing Report
| Tennessee Tailwaters
It's been a well known fact that fishing in the Smokies has been pretty good. Heck, it's April, so it's more or less a given that the streams in the Smokies should be fishing well. But the tailwaters? How are they fishing? Well... It is April, the flows are perfect, and the bugs are starting to hatch. Most of the fish we're catching are on nymphs. A #16 Beadhead Pheasant Tail or Zelon Nymph has been the fly of choice. We're also see some pretty good caddis hatches on the Holston so dry fly opportunities are only getting better. No real hatch of Sulphurs on the Clinch yet, but it's only a matter of time.
Shenandoah Valley (VA)
Shenandoah National Park/ Blue Ridge Parkway/ GW National Forest Brook Trout Streams: These streams are in great shape and the fishing so far this Spring has been fantastic. They are very spooky and will only become more so as summer nears. This week you will find Little Yellow Stoneflies, Gray Drakes, March Browns and even a few Sulfurs starting in the southern sections. 6x tippet will help but you can still get by with 5x. We have done well with our Mr. Rapidan Parachute in #16, Brown Delta Wing Caddis #14 or #16 and Murray's Little Yellow Stonefly dry #16.
This year Murray's Fly Shop Celebrates it's 50th Anniversary. We are having a celebration party on May 19, 2012 from 4-7 pm in downtown Edinburg, VA. Tickets are $15 and includes live music, food, drinks and raffle prizes (available by calling 540-984-4212 or at www.murraysflyshop.com). All proceeds go to Earth Korps - a non-profit located in Edinburg, VA that is tirelessly cleaning trash out the the Shenandoah River and it's tributaries.
Snake River (Idaho)
Well the rivers are high! Henry's Fork is high and going for greatness. Check the flows on box canyon as this may be the only good float. The South Fork is still in good shape (8000 cfs today) and mostly clear. The run off is starting in Eastern Idaho with temperatures in the 80's some days. Fall river, lower Henry's Fork, and Warm River stretches are high and off color.
