Go on a Daily Vacation

What comes to your mind when you hear the word 'vacation'?  More than likely, you think of 'not doing anything,' 'enjoyment,' and 'doing what I like.'  You possibly go on a vacation once or twice a year.  Wouldn't you like to go on a daily vacation?

Here are some of the ways:
  • Take out an entire hour (or more) just for yourself, and do what you want.  Turn off your phone during this hour, and do not speak with anyone.
  • Pack your lunch and have it by the lake or in your neighborhood park.
  • Soak your feet.
  • Read an uplifting book and put inspiring thoughts in your mind.
  • Put on soft music and do gentle yoga.
  • Delight in the sights and sounds of nature.
  • Go on a family picnic on your deck.
  • Ride your (or your child's) bicycle around the block.
  • Sleep in a tent in your backyard.
Every day can be a vacation.  Just be creative.

Yours,
Didi Ji
