Use music to relax

Music is extremely powerful.  The right kind of music has the power to relax the mind; it has the power to heal; even the power to turn hatred into love.  Music affects the mind and touches the soul.

If you are feeling frustrated or angry, listen to calming music.  You will find your anger melting away.  Soon you will start feeling relaxed.  If you are on a long drive and the children are getting agitated, singing songs familiar to the entire family may just do the trick.

Music has been used to calm down frightened animals.  It has been used to encourage cows to give more milk.  Farmers use classical music to yield more crops.  Music has been used successfully to forge friendships between enemies.  It is the universal language.  You may not understand the other person's mother tongue, but you can surely understand and appreciate his music.

Use music to brighten your mood and your day.  Use it to get inspired and encouraged.  Use music to calm down a crying baby.  Use it to go to sleep at night.  Use music to connect to your higher nature.  Use it to heal the ailing mind and soothe the troubled soul.

My personal experience is that music enables one to communicate one's deepest thoughts and emotions.  When music is added to sacred words, it helps us to experience a greater love for God.

Yours,
Didi Ji
