Warm Winter Greetings!
February.This month brings us anticipation
of the possibilities...
of big snowstorms and
winter
skies...
of a long weekend and extra rest...

perhaps
a special Valentine...
or even the anticipation of an
early Spring.
Somehow February has us
looking elsewhere, anticipating, hoping... perhaps
longing...

Many of you remember Kristin sharing at our
Christmas Teas about her upcoming move with her
husband Jeff and their three young children to serve in
missions in Rome ....
here is
an update from Kristin,
Jeff and I are waiting
on the Lord regarding His timing
for our move to Rome. We are learning at a deeper
level the truth: "The heart of man plans his way, but
the Lord establishes his steps." (Proverbs 16:9)
We are currently at 83% of our support,
and we are anticipating several prayer gatherings in
the next few weeks. We have already applied for our
religious worker visas that would enable a long-term
stay in Rome. It brought encouragement to hear the
Italian spoken in the consulate! Please pray for our
support to come in, for wisdom in taking care of
logistical details, and the grace to learn what God has
for us in this time.
