Here's a simple trick to beat sugar cravings at home that really works. As soon as a craving starts, go and brush your teeth. Brushing your teeth is a distraction. It gets you out of the kitchen and occupied with something other than eating. But what also helps a lot is the toothpaste itself. The secret is using a strong-flavored toothpaste. Any mint-flavored toothpaste, for example, works great. |

Along with a new year comes all those New Year's resolutions. While everyone's resolutions are different, a fair share of them are centered around personal fitness.
The pursuit of fitness is a noble one, but one that all-too-often fails due to lack of motivation and commitment. If you stick to a fitness program, however, you'll find you not only feel better physically but also mentally. When your body is in shape, your mind is, too. Focus, mood and attention span are enhanced right along with muscle tone.
Make this the year that you commit to getting in, and staying in, shape for life! Start the month of January fresh and reclaim your mid-section. I encourage you to create a very personal plan that is targeted, specific and precise to your own situation and goals and stick with it till you see the results that will make you feel great about your self and your fitness!
