Don't waste your calories on drinks. At least 90% of the time drink no calorie or low calorie drinks. Water continues to be the very best choice. Diet colas may lack calories but they certainly do not offer any health benefits and many will argue that they actually negatively impact both your health and weight loss attempts

July is National Fitness Month, and this is as good of a time as any to get into the gym and get fit. As you know Firehouse Gym offers all sorts of different programs, such as the popular dance workout Zumba, Kick Boxing, Yoga, Strength and Active classes and Silver Sneakers fitness for the older adults. If you're not sure about whether you want to try a new class or not, I recommend you come to Firehouse Gym and try a class or ask me for a personal training session so you can see what is right for you. Take advandance of the longer Summer days and get back into great shape!
