With the beginning of Spring come more hours of light, more sunshine to warm everything, more carefree talk of the birds and more sleeveless shirts! Dear one, this is the time to spring forth and celebrate your life with joy, laughter and a "Clean Slate' policy to prevent us from fixated on our mistakes, on our errors, on the things we meant to do but didn't do . . and the things we didn't want to do, but couldn't help but doing. Remember the poem below when you are losing your focus.

It doesn't matter what country I am in or what type of client or athlete I am working with - they WILL ask about cardio.

  • "How much cardio should I be doing?"
  • "When's the best time to do my cardio?"
  • "I want to get leaner - should I do more cardio or more weights?"
  • "I hate cardio. Do I need to do hours and hours to achieve my goals?"
  • "I am up to 2 hours of cardio a day - where do I go from here?"

I don't think there's actual confusion about cardio. Rather, I believe cardio is simply being misused. BTW, the woman in the picture is Krista Schaus, our coach at Precision Nutrition Lean Eating Program.
