2010 A Year When Things Will Be Changed and Rearranged

On December 31, 2009 I sat in church service eagerly awaiting the message for the New Year. I had personally been in prayer myself for weeks about the New Year and also because I was to be impacted by a situation the first week of January. I needed some direction. As Bishop Keith Butler began to speak, I waited to hear the two things that the Lord had said to me, I wasn't disappointed. His message included both items: prayer and back to basics! Those were the two things that the Lord had said to me but He had given Bishop a whole lot more. When Bishop declared "2010 A Year When Things Will Be Changed and Rearranged" I thought about the change in my circumstance scheduled to take place on January 6, 2010 and I knew that this was truly a word in season! It's good to know that your leaders hear from God! As usual, Bishop began to deliver the message in its entirety and it was full of what to expect and what to do when it happens. I purchased the Mp3 and downloaded it onto my iPod (don't you just love technology!)

I have internalized the word for me! This is not a quote of the word as it was given by Bishop; this is how I internalized it for me along with my own study and meditation.

2010 is here and with it has come a shift, a change and a determination to do things better this year than last year. Many of us welcomed in this year by committing to fast and pray in 2010. This is a year where the order of the day will be prayer, intercession and the need to get "back to basics." It's time for us to get back to the foundation or base of our faith. Back to the roots! It's important because changes are coming to our lives. Change is not something that we welcome, we like sameness, predictability and the familiar but we live in a world that is changing rapidly. For Christians the best way to deal with change is to seek the face of God through prayer and intercession, to get intimately acquainted with Him by reading and meditating in His word (from Genesis all the way to the book of the Revelation). With a solid foundation in place, we'll be able to weather any storm. I'm optimistic that for every negative change, two positive changes will take its place and I'm definitely looking for restoration of everything that the enemy has stolen and anything that was lost due to poor decisions!

Personally, I'm claiming that I'm the head and not the tail, above and never beneath! I'm the lender and not the borrower. I'm blessed in the city, blessed in the country, I'm blessed when I come in and blessed when I go out! No evil shall befall me or come near my dwelling! I'm more than a conqueror! Wealth and riches are in my house! Everything I put my hands to prospers! I have the mind of Christ! I am abundantly supplied because He is Jehovah Jireh! I have favor with God and with man! Greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world! Hallelujah!

In times of good change, I'll praise the Lord and in times of negative change I'll praise the Lord. I'll watch my mouth! (Watch your words!) I won't complain! If you complain you cannot reign! To reign means to exercise of sovereign power as by a monarch. Since God has made us kings and priest we need to exercise our kingdom authority. In Revelation 1:6 it says "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen."

"2010 a year when things will be changed and rearranged" God is always faithful to His people. Believe God and trust Him to provide and to restore whatever the enemy has stolen. Expect jubilee.
