    Fun Photos from Catalina
    Catalina-2007

The Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival was such a blast! I got to see lots of old friends and made so many new ones that I'm still smiling about it all.

When you go to a Jazz Art show - you just never know who might drop by .... check out Candy Dulfer, Nick Colionne, Mindi Abair, Stan Sargeant and Steve Oliver as they came by to check out their portraits!

And you never know who might be stopping by this weekend at the Alta Vista Gallery!

On the Bus with Acoustic Alchemy

Bettie on the bus with Acoustic Alchemy. It was a short tour - about 15 minutes - but it was fun!

While at Jazz on the Green in Florida last month I had the opportunity to photograph Acoustic Alchemy.

To all you Acoustic Alchemy fans, be on the lookout for a new art piece featuring these legendary musicians in the very near future.

The photo of me (below) taking photos was taken by Geoff Coe, the official photographer for the event, as I was sneaking some shots of the guys on stage.

Check out some of Geoff's other photos including nature and jazz imagery.

Wine and Jazz - A Peter White Christmas
    PW Christmas

My good friends at Wine and Jazz are celebrating Christmas by featuring Peter White, Rick Braun & Mindi Abair in an incredible Wine and Jazz package to kick off the holidays.

We are making it a Wine, Jazz and Art weekend by continuing the party at Spaghettini Grill & Jazz Club for the Sunday Brunch this weekend, November 18, 2007.

Wine and Jazz is bringing in three of the biggest names in smooth jazz: Peter White, Rick Braun and Mindi Abair. They will be signing autographs and having a great time with their fans. Iris Rideau from Rideau Vineyard will be pouring her delicious wine at a free wine tasting during the brunch.

Call Spaghettini's for reservations at (562)596-2199. See you there!!!

P.S. Yes, Bettie created the artwork for "A Peter White Christmas." Ask Bettie how much fun it was working with three great musicians and comedians!
