Greetings! Greetings! It's the beginning of a long, hot summer and that isn't just a reference to the weather. With everything that's going on, it's about to get a lot hotter! We all grow and stretch, trying to reach those dreams. I've always been caught between the vivid realism of straight photography, and the dreamy world I prefer of Impressionist painting. Combining the two has been fun, challenging and always a mysterious miracle when it works. Since I last wrote to you, I've really been stretching my wings and doing photography like I've never done before. Since many of my "raw" photos have been so well received lately I thought I might push the envelope and kick things up a notch. In fact, I have gone places I've never gone before - artistically speaking that is - and I could use your help, or rather, your vote! The model for this piece (who shall remain nameless) encouraged me to enter the contest. Some of the pieces entered are so beautiful, provocative and incredibly creative.
