RECITAL NEWS
The final costume deposit was posted on December 15, 2010. If you have any questions regarding your account, please do not hesitate to call the office or log in to your online account center.
As a reminder: students are no longer able to change classes. All recital costumes have been ordered and most have arrived. If you have questions about your child's classes, please let us know.
Students will begin learning their recital dances this month, and regular attendance is important in order to keep up. We want to make sure every student feels comfortable learning the material and being in class regularly will help this effort.
The Recital Handbooks will be passed out during class the week of January 18. Look for these to come home with your child. This handbook will contain information about the recital, as well as important dates! We realize that this may seem overwhelming at first, but please do not hesitate to call or email should you have any questions about the show. We want everyone to have a positive experience and be as hassle free as possible!
Recital Yearbook Ad information will also be passed out during class beginning January 18. There are many different options for yearbook ads and they are a great way to wish your special dancer good luck on recital night! These ads can be customized with text and your dancer's recital photo from this year!
PROPER ATTIRE
Proper attire is required for all dance classes. Students are to wear a leotard and tights with their hair pulled back and away from their face. For hip hop classes, students are allowed to wear pants or shorts over their leotard. Boys can wear a t-shirt and shorts or pants for class, but proper shoes are required.
Proper shoes are also required. Check the bulletin board or Divine Dancewear for the correct shoes. Recital photographs are just around the corner and all students need the correct shoes for pictures, as well as recital. A blue sheet of paper will be sent home with your child if he/she does not have the correct shoes.
Please make sure that your child is on time each week. It is important that the classes begin on time for every child's benefit as it causes a disruption if students arrive after class has begun.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
