Weather Closings
As the winter season has finally arrived, we wanted to remind everyone that in the case that we close the studio due to weather or other emergencies, an automated phone message will be sent, as well as an email.  The phone message will be a voice recording notifying you of the school closing.

In most instances where the local schools have been closed, we will also close the studios.  In some other cases, we may close the studios if the weather gets bad after the school day ends.

As always, make up classes are available in the case of missed or cancelled classes.
Divine Dancewear Open House

The Divine Dancewear Open House will be on Saturday, December 4 from 9am-12pm.

Stop in during this time for special holiday savings in time for Christmas!

Don't miss out!

Cookie Dough

Pick Up

Please make sure to mark your calendars for the Cookie Dough Pick Up on Friday, December 10 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Channahon studio.

If you are unable to pick up your orders that day, please make arrangements for someone else to pick it up as we are unable to store cookie cubes that are not picked up.

The credits for the cookie dough will be posted to your accounts on file prior to the December 15th billing cycle.

December 2010 Newsletter

Hello!

Happy Holidays from Pam's Academy of Dance!  We hope that you are all enjoying your holiday season so far.  As a reminder, we will be closed for Winter Break from Sunday, December 19 through Monday, January 3.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 4.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday season!

We Care Christmas Donations

Again this year, PAD has adopted a family from the We Care of Grundy County program.  We will be providing them with gifts for Christmas, as well as holiday meal.

If you would like to make a donation to help us provide this family with a wonderful Christmas, you can do so by bringing in a gift card to any retailer - Walmart, Target, Aldi, Jewel, etc.  or make a cash donation.  You can also donate wrapping paper, bows, gift tags, etc.

If you're interested in providing a gift for a particular child, you can call or email the dance school for ideas.

We ask that all donations be made by Monday, December 6.

If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to contact the studio via phone or email.

We know how lucky we are in our lives and we look forward to being able to give back to another family in our community.

Parent Observation Week
We will be having Parent Observation Days from Saturday, December 11 through Friday, December 17.

You are invited to attend the last ten minutes of your child's class to see what they have been working on so far this year.

The teachers will come out into the hallway to invite you in when the class is ready.  This is an exciting time for the students as they have been working hard in class and are excited to show you.

We encourage everyone to bring their camers and video cameras!

Recital Costumes
The final payment for recital costumes will be deducted from your account on file on Wednesday, December 15.  Please make a note of this.

Many recital costumes have been arriving.  As they are, students will be trying them on in class.  Please keep in mind that the costumes will be handed out in the Spring during Student Appreciation/Costume Pick Up days.  In some instances, pants may need to be hemmed as the companies allow extra length for accurate sizing.

Duffle Bag Order
If you placed an order for a duffle bag, these fees were posted to your accounts on file today.  The bags will be ready next week for pick up.  As soon as we receive them, we will send an email to notify you of pick up times.
We truly hope that everyone is enjoying the first half of the dance season.  We are looking forward to beginning recital dances when we return from Christmas break.  As always, this time will be very important and proper shoes and attire are crucial.  If you have not yet purchased the correct shoes for class, please make sure to do so before January.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Sincerely,

Pam & Staff
