Record attendance for the 2011 TrashFest!


TRASHFEST   

TrashFest ROCKED this year with a record attendance!  604 divers (80 teams) jumped into the river for the "Divers In & Trash Out" event.

 

More than 4000 pounds of trash was pulled from the Comal River with Dive West group pulling 1147lbs of it coming in at #1.

  

Great Job to all of 2011 TrashFest teams and to all of the volunteers ~ Job Well Done!

Local Diving in Texas Reached a Record Success 
DAT 2011

 

On Sunday, October 2nd 2011 the Third Annual Dive Around Texas Challenge welcomed over 151 divers to its elite membership. Divers gathered from all over the State of Texas in San Marcos on the banks of the River to recognize those divers that registered and completed at least 12 dives since January 1st.
 
Dive West had 18 participants in the Dive Around Texas Challenge 2011 and accumulated approximately 20 Texas dives per person.
