Dive West had 20 participants in the Dive Around Texas Challenge and accumulated approximately 35 dives per person

(Monkey Mayhem) for TrashFest this year. We came in 3rd for the most trash pulled from the Comal River 836lbs ~ Wow! Thanks to all of our in water and on land helpers.....!

Thank you to everyone that has stopped by since Dive West opened Saturday, October 16th. We are so excited to have the store up and running.
Our compressor is all hooked up and ready to fill your tanks for some last minute diving at your local diving spots before the water gets to cold.

South Padre Fun

Instructor Brandi Farch took a group down to South Padre on Labor Day to enjoy diving The Texas Clipper. Although it rained for most of the trip, the group enjoyed a Friday night fireworks and dolphin cruise. "The dolphins came right up to the boat, it was amazing."
The group also enjoyed 2 great dives on The Clipper and 4 equally great dives on the Little Sara a natural gas rig and Tons of Steel oil rig.
The Texas Clipper can be compared to a large museum, requiring scuba divers to make several trips to fully appreciate it because of the size. Dive West plans to make more trips to explore this wonder in the future. Next time we hope you can enjoy it with us.
