Recently, on our message board and on our blog, there has been a debate about whether or not it is harmful to human health to use plastic in heating foods or in freezing foods. It was thought by some that it is a hoax that plastic containers used in food preparation or storage would lead to plastic in the human body. Well, I did my research. I found a book that is a frightening, detective-style narrative that details for the lay public many of the research studies under discussion in Washington regarding these and other man-made chemicals.
