Jennifer Grodecki, CPNP

Jennifer GrodeckiHello! My name is Jennifer Grodecki and I am incredibly excited to be joining Town and Country Pediatrics as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.

I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago before attending Illinois Wesleyan University for my undergraduate training as a Registered Nurse. Upon graduation, I began my nursing career in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. It was during this time that I realized I would like to further my education and expand my knowledge base of the pediatric population. Subsequently, I went on to pursue my Masters in Nursing degree with a focus as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Rush University in Chicago. As part of my training, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to complete six months of clinical hours at Town and Country Pediatrics with Jennifer Hartman, CPNP.

I am eager and enthusiastic about beginning this new chapter in my career at Town and Country Pediatrics. I look forward to meeting you and creating a personal relationship to better serve your family's healthcare needs

Jennifer will practice at our Halsted and Lincoln/Devon locations including evening hours on Thursdays at our Halsted location. In addition to seeing our patients for well child and sick visits, Jennifer will be assisting Jennifer Hartman, CPNP with our website and quality assurance.

Julie Selig, M.D.

Julie Selig M.D.
My name is Julie Selig and I am very happy to be joining the doctors and staff and Town and Country Pediatrics.

I am originally from Long Island, NY and am one of the proud alumni of the University of Michigan.  I completed my Masters of Science education and Medical education at Georgetown University in 1996 and moved to Chicago that summer to begin my Pediatrics residency at Children's Memorial Hospital.  Upon completion of my residency training in 1999, I worked as a pediatric Hospitalist at Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals until September, 2000.  It was then that I joined the University of Chicago Medical Center at the Child Life Center in Flossmoor, IL.   Though I have thoroughly enjoyed the nine years that I spent there, I am very much looking forward to practicing Pediatrics in the city of Chicago and to being closer to my two-year old son.

I look forward to meeting you in the near future.

Meghan Dean, LCSW

Meghan DeanMeghan Dean is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides therapy and parenting consultation to our patients.  Meghan will be working closely with our full time social worker, Beth Shapiro, LCSW.  Beth's schedule will not change.  We are thrilled to welcome Meghan to our practice.

Meghan has been in the mental health field for 12 years. Most recently she worked at La Rabida Children's Hospital as a therapist doing individual and family therapy with children who had experienced trauma, such as abuse or neglect. During her eight years as a senior clinician at La Rabida, she worked extensively with children
diagnosed with anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders. She also provided consultation to therapists new to the field, and worked collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team for the best interest of her patients. Prior to working at La Rabida, she worked as a therapist at two child welfare agencies, ChildServ and Jewish Children's Bureau (now Jewish Children and Family Services).
Meghan earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis and earned her Masters in Social Work at University of Illinois at Chicago, Jane Addams College of Social Work.  Meghan believes therapy is a process that helps people gain awareness in order to provide the opportunity to make significant and meaningful changes in their lives and she is focuses on helping families learn the skills to help themselves. She is very excited to be joining the team at Town and Country Pediatrics!
