How we think about and work with values influences how we create, lead and perform. In this session, you will explore the benefit of placing your relationship with values into a larger creative context to create generative engagement and sustainable high-performance for yourself and others. In this content-rich and highly interactive session, Cliff will weave together the work of Dr. Barry Johnson - who developed Polarity Management - with creative process, leadership development, OD, psychology and philosophy - focused on practical results. You will:
In addition to covering an overview of the basic concept of interdependent values (also known as polarities, dilemmas, paradoxes, or unsolvable problems), participants will experience the Polarity Map from a four-part creative process: See it, Map it, Tap it, and Track it.
Leave with increased knowledge of how to create more generative opportunities, use interdependent value pairs to help direct the flow of creative energy, and detect Early Warning Signs that can undermine the ability to tap the energy system. Take home "both/and" Actions Steps you can apply to any situation. Cliff Kayser is Founder and President XperienceŽ LLC - which offers Organization Consulting, Executive Coaching, and Leadership Training services - and Kayser Ridge Retreat and Learning Center in Berkeley Springs, WV.
