Did you know that your subconscious is already creating your future? Is there a grand image of the future that you carry in your heart and want to realize in the world? The landscape of business in the 21st Century is one of rapid and volatile change, and those who will be most successful in realizing their aspirational visions will be those who have mastered the critical skill of Futures Thinking. Are you ready to venture into unexplored terrain, where the risks are real but the payoffs are dynamic?

If so, then join futures educator and facilitator Frank Spencer in this immersive session that will take you through a visionary futures thinking process that he uses in his work with entrepreneurs, leaders and organizations for generating fresh vistas of creativity, growth, and breakthrough transformation. This is the heart of the process his strategic foresight firm, KedgeForward, uses to help businesses and individuals to move out of stagnation and into creating their conscious futures!

In this experiential-learning and content-rich session, Frank will guide you through core visionary practices from the field of professional foresight that will help you to:

    • Create a strategy for your business that is more robust, adaptive, and resilient - poised to handle risks and seize opportunities!
    • Navigate change with greater confidence and effectiveness
    • Develop a business culture that successfully engages the "triple bottom line" of profit, people and planet
    • Use creative thinking to find new breakthroughs, innovations, and business solutions
    • Uncover strengths and weaknesses in your strategic capability and business environment, both internal and external
    • Discover unconscious motivations, and the way they are shaping the future of your work/business

Frank Spencer is a founding partner and lead business futurist with KedgeForward, a foresight consulting firm that collaborates with businesses, NGO's, and social agencies to develop robust innovation and transformative strategy. Prior to KedgeForward, Frank worked for 15 years as a leadership coach and developer with social communities and online networking initiatives, and has since helped firms such as Mars Inc., Kraft, and Marriott International to develop long-term strategic thinking and action. As a member of the World Futures Studies Federation and the World Future Society, Frank is a regular speaker on topics such as the future of cities in human civilization, the lifestyle integration of technology, and the use of foresight tools in professional and academic settings. Frank holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Foresight, and is a director with the Foresight Education and Research Network, as well as a lead instructor at Duke University's Futures Institute with the Talent Identification Program. You can reach Frank at kedgeforward.com.

We are thrilled to have Frank come up from Savannah - the "Creative Coast" - to lead this session! Please RSVP so we know how many to expect.
