Our Services
Hi everyone!

Normally our newsletter goes out every 4-8 weeks. Because of the Oct. 4 conference and this (late) follow-up, there will be 2 newsletters coming out this month only: this one with a focus on the conference, and a second one soon in our regular format - a more general creativity-in-business focus with articles, ideas, creative events, resources, etc.

The Creativity in Business Conference was, thankfully, a life-giving event that exceeded our best hopes! I'm hugely grateful to all who supported and participated in this event - so many giving and creative souls who helped create a unique, vibrant, stimulating, interconnected, cross-pollinating, whole-brained day of emergence. Thank you so much!

You can read some recaps, see picture galleries and 2 video-montages below. There will also be the conference video coming soon - still in editing mode.

The Center is offering some post-conference services and events - some in the works (based upon what people said they would like to see) and some of our established offerings.
Also, our next live event is with DC's own Dan Pink! More on these updates below and in the next newsletter.

I am thrilled about the changing times we're in where creativity is increasingly being valued as an essential part of the business (and life) landscape! Big YES to that!

Warmly,
Michelle

All those who donated books, poster, and t-shirts for our give-away; to those who donated their works of art and business services to the silent auction; to David Fogal for the speaker, and to Jen and Frank for the Thankfulfor interactive display.

And special thanks to the participants who trusted us with their day...and to the infinite, life-giving, self-organizing, ever-generative wellspring we call Creativity :-)
I am passing along a big THANK YOU from Project Create DC to all who donated or purchased art and business services at the conference silent auction! All of your generous proceeds went to helping provide art training & supplies to DC's inner city children in transitional housing who otherwise could not afford them. You all rock!
Creativity in Business Thought Leader Interviews
There are several more interviews of conference presenters on InnovationTools.com  blog. Each week, I'm interviewing one of the conference presenters as part of a Creativity in Business Thought Leader Series. 8 interviews are up with more to come. Check back each week for a new interview on creativity in business, the emerging paradigm of work, and creative leadership. Click here for the list of all of the interviews with links.
Dan Pink Event in the New Year
Early heads-up: super excited that Dan Pink will be joining us for a sure-to-be-awesome event in the new year (late Feb-early March - waiting to hear back from venue about the date) talking about his NEW book, DRiVE, due out January 21. After his talk, we'll enter some experiences to further engage his intrinsically creative concepts :-)
Post Conference Offerings
After the conference, I received several calls from participants who were inspired, delighted, and motivated...and thirsty for more - most common request was that future conferences be longer than one day. (Still wrapping my head around the logistics for that one ;-) And I received calls form those who missed the event, and wanted to know other options.

So...we're emerging some different pathways to continue the journey, each a different type of engagement  for a different type of need, and of course have some existing options as well. These are still forming and will be explained in more detail future emails (such as teleclasses, mini-events, workshops, products, Thought Leader forums...).
