This experiential session will explore the rich design that exists all around us and how to tap into that design ethos to foster greater creativity in every aspect of our work and lives. During the presentation, we will explore the creativity at work behind a variety of objects and daily experiences - from the mundane to the complex, from work to play, and from home to office. Joey will present a series of "lenses" by which to examine and evaluate your daily interactions and discover new ways to connect with your world in a more creative fashion - and you will experience creative ways to practice this. In addition, you will learn and explore:
You will leave this session more aware of the influence design is having on your daily life and how to increase the impact creativity and design have on your daily work activities; an expanded framework work for creative problem solving/solution finding and visioning; and real-time ideas for your own situations. Come ready to share a situation, problem or vision you have and we will come up with "design-focused" ways for you to approach it.
