Zero to Participate (Z2P) offers the rationale, creative playfulness, techniques and timing to make your next session memorable. Whether you facilitate, train or lead a half-hour workshop or several days in a windowless room, discover the secrets to create interactive yet practical participation that accelerates understanding and buy-in. Keep the energy up, the timing right and your participants engaged. Activities in this workshop range from simple to highly-energetic. We'll explore how Diverge and Converge are NOT just about ideation; types, styles and profiles - and why they matter; easy to use tools that move and focus people; eliminating talking heads (even if it's yours); and going from zero to participate - in 60 seconds. In this session you will:
About Bill Olsen C.P.F. Once upon
a time Bill Olsen navigated ships, engineered
machinery and "fixed stuff". But then one
day he discovered, "Aha! I get breakthroughs
with creativity!" Bill now navigates team
dynamics, engineers meaningful change and
"creates stuff". He co-founded regional
networks, became a Certified Professional
Facilitator (CPF), became a Senior Associate
in corporations and launched Olsen
Innovations Inc, which provides Facilitating,
Training and Team Building where he states,
"Our mission is clear. . .to accelerate
yours." His clients have included Government
agencies, National Non-profits, youth groups
and corporations from the Fortune 500 to Mom
& Pops. The common element is that all these
clients had a genuine and urgent need for
meaningful change. His work in 2007 alone has
taken him to five countries and twelve U.S.
states. He has been the recipient of
creativity awards from former Vice President
Al Gore, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, a
University and regional Networks. Bill is
also listed in the National Facilitator Data
Base's "Top 20" list. But mostly. . .he's on
a journey of discovering and sharing
creativity and meaningful change.
