Kelly Cresap, Ph.D., will introduce an
interlocking system of
four archetypes--Sovereign, Warrior,
Magician, and Lover--and
equip participants with tools for bringing
them all directly
into the workplace. This pocket-sized,
comprehensive system
takes traditional branding to a new level, as
it illuminates
both the
strengths and potential weaknesses of an
organization's declared
brand. You will leave with a new
model for understanding
career identity and for achieving
professional goals. This
experiential workshop includes movement,
guided visualization,
and storytelling. At the end of the
presentation, you will be able to:
- Orient yourself in a system of
archetypes that is comprehensive, holistic,
and easy to remember
- Detect blind spots connected with your
professional brand, and act positively to
overcome them
- Move forward with your career goals, equipped
with new sources of motivation and insight
- Create a dynamic workplace ally system
- Tell stories with greater effectiveness
Kelly M. Cresap, Ph.D., is an author,
storyteller, public speaker,
workshop leader, award-winning performer, and
former NPR
commentator. His work explores both
therapeutic and
organizational aspects of storytelling. In
2005 he organized the
first Smithsonian conference on storytelling
for personal
transformation. As the founder of Laughing
Muse Inc., Dr. Cresap
brings the power of thoughtful laughter both
to individuals and
organizations. His book "Pop
Trickster Fool: Warhol Performs" examines
the revolutionary impact of the artist Andy
Warhol. He is based in Silver Spring, MD. You
