You know that part of any successful career is the ability to present yourself confidently to others. You also know that doing so is one of many people's biggest fears. Would you rather have dental surgery than speak publicly? Do you cringe when you have to deliver a presentation because you feel you voice is too shrill, powerless, nasal, soft...? Or maybe your voice is just fine but you wish you could bring you words more to life when you speak. We'll explore how to release those demons and find your 'signature' voice. Just as you have your written signature, you can have a vocal signature: the placing, pacing and tone that states who you are and what you have to say in a way that will make others want to listen. Through fun exercises, a bit of Improv and lots of practical humor, you'll learn useful skills and techniques to work toward finding your Signature Voice.

Melissa Leebaert has been doing Voiceovers on radio, TV, the Web and for major corporations for over 20years. You've heard her on Fox, Discovery, National Geographic and on numerous Children's animated videos and recorded books. For the past 5 years Melissa has been incorporating Improv into her Voice Over and Acting work and teaching. As well as being a successful VO talent, Melissa teaches VO privately and holds workshops which are always sold out. Melissa has been nominated for 4 Emmys and has won an Emmy and 2 Peer Awards. Her attitude is that if work is fun, creative and done with passion, success will naturally follow. Her website is www.melissavoice.com
