The concepts behind Brain States Mastery were developed by Brian Morrissey after collecting and researching numerous samples of brain states via EEG (brain wave) technology. This data was assembled as individuals engaged in various activities, particularly in accelerated learning and memory. This knowledge will be presented in a practical process of self-discovery that will enable you to tap into and enhance creative performance, whether at work, on stage or in the classroom.

During this interactive workshop, you will be introduced to the Tri-Brain State Model, which provides practical guidance on how to better manage your day-to-day affairs, as well as boost your creativity in performance. By the workshop’s end, you will have had the opportunity to prove the model’s efficacy for yourself. You will better understand your major brain states, and how to switch among them, as well as how to better adapt to the demands and opportunities you face in day-to- day life.

Brian Morrissey is an educator, author and researcher whose two books, Ultimate Learning States: Exploring Intellectual Performance with Brain Wave Technology (1996) and Brain States Mastery: Riding the Wave of Consciousness and the Brain to a Better Life (2006) explore brain waves and human performance. He will be joined by co- presenter, Linda Erdberg, now retired as Coordinator of the Partners In Education Program for the Arlington Public Schools. Linda, a singer, dancer and speaker, is an image consultant for Beauticontrol. You can reach Brian at BrianMorrissey@mac.com.
