Attention All Arrowmen - Our Troops Overseas Need Our Help
 
Ron & Susan Wardezak's Allstate Insurance in Carnegie will be collecting personal items for our troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan.
 
Items are being accepted THIS weekend starting TODAY Friday December 7th through Sunday December 9th at:

Our Lodge has been asked to support this great effort by collecting and dropping off items from the following categories.
 
Food & Food Related Items:
Small pre packed food items are best, food immediately gets sand and dust within the packaging if it is in bulk size. Most food should be consumed fully in one sitting, as there is limited space for clean food storage.
Campbell's chunky soups, chicken, beef, etc. Pop top cans are Best
Fast Food Hot Sauce Packets
Canned chips or potato sticks
Cereal bars, granola bars, Energy Bars
Spices
Squeeze butter
Pringles chips
Microwave popcorn
Ramen noodles

Personal Items & Hygiene Items:
Antibacterial wipes, lotion, sunscreen, travel size toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, shampoo, tissues, Gold Bond powder, Avon skin-so-soft is great for removing camo and a bug repellent
Eye drops for washing out sand (cleaning kind-send in plastic bag)
small containers of Tylenol, Motrin, Advil
Band Aids, cough drops, dental floss, combs, chapstick, lip balm, q-tips, nail clippers, bottles
Paper, pens, postcards, envelopes
New underwear
Anti-itch
Vitamins
Duct Tape
New DVD's, CDs & players
Disposable Cameras
Handheld electronic games
Puzzle, Word Game & Crossword books
Game Boys & games
Sport items

Paper towels, windex, laundry detergent (travel size-powder or cubes (no liquid), Febreze

Variety of zip-lock bag sizes, heavy kind

Koozies to keep water bottles and cans cool
Microwave able plates and bowls, paper plates
Canned air to blow dust out of electronics

Illegal substances, Alcoholic beverages, Explosives including fireworks
Theres no better way to show our support for our Troops and to say THANK YOU for their efforts.
 
Please take some time from your busy weekend schedule to gather some items and drop them off. Help get the word out by passing this email along to your family, friends, and co-workers. If your scout troop has an email ditribution list, please utilize this resource, too.
