PUD EMPLOYEES RAISE OVER $20,000 FOR UNITED WAY

Columbia River PUD employees really are superheroes when it comes to supporting United Way of Columbia County.  The PUD raised $20,321 during this year's campaign, which amounts to an astounding average gift of $432 per employee.  It's the second year in a row that the PUD campaign has topped $20,000.

ANNUAL REPORT WINS AWARD


The PUD's 2009 Annual Report, "The Power of Community" has won the top prize in the American Public Power Association's 2010 Annual Report competition. APPA, which represents over 2,000 community-owned utilities across the United States, holds the contest annually.

 

This is the first time the PUD's report has won first place; the PUD has earned second place twice before. The report is available online at www.crpud.net.
