Right now, the federal government is offering increased tax credits for home energy efficiency improvements, including insulation upgrades, window replacement, heating system upgrades and more. You could be eligible for up to $1,500 in federal tax credits for energy efficiency measures installed by December 31, 2010.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program
Community Action Team administers the federally-funded Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). To schedule an appointment with CAT for LIHEAP assistance, call (503) 366-6582.
Neighbor's GLOW Fund
The GLOW Fund provides emergency assistance to low-income PUD customers who are behind in their payments and in danger of having their electric service disconnected. GLOW is funded through employee fundraisers and voluntary customer contributions. All the money raised for GLOW goes directly to assist customers.
Special Waiver Program
The Special Waiver program waives the $7 monthly customer charge for low-income households. For more information about the PUD's low-income assistance programs, contact Customer Accounts at (503) 397-0590 or custsvc@crpud.org.
