Five senior women are being honored for their community service.
We're pleased to announce the members of the 2010 My Fair Lady Court.  Pictured above, front row: Marcia Powers of Clatskanie and Margie Clark of Rainier. Back row: Rosie McCoy of Vernonia, Marvel Brown of St. Helens, and Helen Simmons of Scappoose.
The My Fair Lady Pageant is held during the Columbia County Fair & Rodeo each year and honors senior women for outstanding community service. This year's pageant will be held on Wednesday, July 14th at 1:00 p.m. The pageant is the highlight of Senior Day at the fair. On that day, Columbia River PUD, Clatskanie PUD and West Oregon Electric are sponsoring free round-trip fair transportation for seniors from each senior center in the county, and the fair is offering free admission for seniors. |
