MercedesHeritage.com Newsletter
November  2011

Greetings!

Each new generation of the epic SL series is highly anticipated around the globe. These two letters signify almost 60 years of achievement both on the road and track. Based on our preliminary data for the 2013 edition, a new era of SL technology and sophistication is upon us.

The SL's racing heritage is currently upheld by the successful AMG SLS GT3 racing program. Potential SLS buyers who feel the standard car too 'soft' for their tastes will soon have a far tougher alternative, the SLS Black Series. This new brute will undoubtedly be a track day star and an intimidating if uncomfortable street cruiser.

We don't have the results as yet but we can be certain Fintail pilots Maas and Frankel had a ball behind the wheel of Mercedes Classic's new Fintail during the season ending FHR event at the Nurburgring. We'll be following this fabulous Fintail's exploits throughout 2012.

Progress on our three projects has been slim with only the 5.0 liter SLC back on the road. However, we'll get cracking and should have the 5-speed 250SE coupe and the cool '54 300b finished by the new year and a report for January's newsletter.

Please enjoy this month's newsletter.
