Greetings! With the beginning of the New Year we are excited to launch the first issue of our quarterly e-newsletter! We genuinely care about bridging the gap between HOAs and residents. We hope this new way of communication will further that mission. Everyday our team works hard to help the associations we manage grow into communities where people want to live, play and thrive. We will be offering helpful hints, interesting community news as well as highlighting our team. But we don't want it to end there - we want to hear from you. If you have something you would like to share I would love to hear from you. Making our communities the best they can be is truly a community effort, and we are looking forward to another great year! Wishing you the best! Courtney Murphy, CMCA, AMS President | Supervising Community Manager

Save money despite rising cost of power
Beginning this month, you'll likely see an increase in your power bill due to a rate increase approved in 2008 to pay for the natural gas-fired generating station located just north of North Las Vegas. The increase is expected to be around $15-per-month on the average monthly utility bill of $140.
That is a significant jump for many homeowners but there are some easy ways to conserve energy and in-turn save a little money. Check out these no cost tips available on the NV Energy website.

Community Management Group's donation of 259 lbs.
of food feeds the hungry
Last November we set out on a mission to help feed the hungry by participating as a drop-off site for the Three Square Food Bank. To help fulfill the organizations mission that no one in our community should be hungry, Community Management Group gathered over 259 lbs. of food which was delivered at the end of December.
We are excited about the difference we made in our community by feed the hungry, but we believe we can do even better this year! We are setting the bar high in 2012 and plan to collect at least 500 lbs. of food. Now that's a lot of food! Be on the lookout for how you can help later this year.
Thank you to our employees, residents, community board members and friends who dropped off non-perishable food items this past holiday.
