Recharge your spiritual batteries!
We all need to make sure we're not running on empty spiritually. One of the fundamental ways of doing this is by feeding on the Word of God.
Let's be honest. One of the first things to go in the busyness and stress of our lives is often the spiritual discipline of reading, studying and applying God's Word. But no matter how much we meditate on our problems, they won't resolve themselves. We need to meditate on the Word of God.

"All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
2 Timothy 3:16-17
At Micah we urge you, especially in these challenging times, to go back to the basics, including filling yourselves daily with God's Word, so that you'll be fully equipped. Here are a few ways that you can do this:
Our website provides audio downloads of the messages at Micah, and is an excellent resource to help you meditate on and apply God's Word long after the service. Our latest series by Pastor Denis on Back to Basics (25/09/11) lists several ways of getting into and being inspired by the Word. Click here to listen to or download this and other inspiring messages.
Life Builders, our Wednesday night interactive Bible study, aims to inspire people to become doers of the Word and not just hearers (James 1:22).
The joy of studying the Bible together is that it gives us the chance to discuss and encourage one another, as well as build up our understanding of Biblical truths and how they relate to us.
"I really hate it when I can't make it to these studies. Every time I come I learn something that I can apply to my life. It's really given me a good foundation in truths I've taken for granted, such as sanctification, salvation or creation, and challenged me to ask, 'What do I believe?'"
