Greetings!
Are you looking for that special toy for your child? Here's a holiday list that includes gifts children can enjoy with their parents. After all, the best gift you can give your child is time with you. Best wishes for a happy holiday to you and your child!
- Building blocks. Cardboard blocks, small wooden blocks and LEGOS can bring hours of creative interaction.
- Gertie balls are bounce-able, squish-able, and eminently catch-able.
- Tool kit, organized in a box or on a belt, for parent-led building projects.
- Baking kit, with cookie-cutters, baking ingredients, a rolling pin, and a child-friendly mixing bowl.
- Suspense games. Share the excitement! Jack-in-the-Box for preschoolers. Jenga is fun for older children.
- Collapsible cloth tunnel. Invites thrilling rounds of peek-a-boo and chase.
- Craft kit with odds and ends like pom-poms, Popsicle sticks, glitter, stickers, and glue. Use it to decorate a box, a plate, or a picture frame together.
- Personal photo album, with pictures of your child, events you have shared, and your child's favorite people and pets. Great for reminiscing.
- Camera or camcorder. Encourages self-expression. A child's camera is suitable for younger children. Teens and pre-teens may enjoy a video camera.
- Musical instruments. Get into the groove with a new pair of bongo drums, a keyboard, or any instrument that will get you in tune with each other.
