Irrigation Efficiency Tune-Up
What's your first inclination when you see a brown spot on your lawn?
If you're like many homeowners, you probably think that you need to water longer.
However, brown spots can be caused by a number of problems, including dog urine, fungi, grubs or an underperforming irrigation system. Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor and His Team Keep SCV Water Flowing
Dirk Hare is living proof that water and power go hand in hand - even if the electric company and water agency are separate. Hare is a water expert whose background originally was on the "power" side of things: An electrician by trade, he serves as the electrical and instrumentation supervisor for Castaic Lake Water Agency.
It's fair to say he gets a real charge out of his job.

HET Rebate
Effective July 1, 2011, CLWA will be offering a rebate through its retailers of up to $80 for High-Efficient Toilets (HET). These rebates are for toilets in omes built prior to 1993 and available through your water retailer. Contact your water retailer for additional information on applying for this rebate.
