Water Conservation Tip
Fix Leaks to Save Water and Money!

Many homes have hidden water leaks. These leaks can end up wasting thousands of gallons per month and increase your water bill dramatically. Set a schedule to check for leaks regularly, such as on the first of the month.
A good way to determine whether or not you have any leaks is to turn off all water inside and outside of your home. After doing so, check your water meter and write down the number on it. If you notice the dial still moving, then you may have a leak. Leave the water off for two hours and check your meter again. If the number on the meter has increased, there is likely a leak in your yard or home.
Avoid unnecessary costs and help to conserve water by fixing leaks immediately and contacting a hardware store, handyman, or plumber for assistance.
