The 912 groups all over the USA and the many Tea Party groups have brought together voices of millions of Americans calling for a change to our politics as usual.

 

 

The election of 2012 may well be the election of our lives.  The policies of this administration have changed our lives and will destroy Seniors' healthcare and decimate America's healthcare system for all Americans

 

This newsletter is an "Action Alert" to all Seniors but especially to those now in Florida.

 

We just received notice of rallies to be held Saturday, Jan 28 through Monday, Jan. 30 across Florida. The rallies are to protest the policies of this administration and to protest the

Senate's refusal to consider jobs bills passed by the House. Harry Reid's continuing manipulation of the senate is preventing needed legislation from coming before the Senate.

TEA PARTY EXPRESS BUS IS ROLLING THROUGH FLORIDA

"Rallying for Victory" Tour to Bring Tea Party Issues to the Fore

Jacksonville, FL - Tea Party Express, the nation's largest tea party political action committee, is excited to announce the launch of its "Rallying for Victory" bus tour through Florida. The tour will start this Saturday, January 28th and will make six stops up and down the Sunshine State. 

 

Amy Kremer, Chairman of the Tea Party Express, said, "The Tea Party Express is here rallying for victory against the policies of Barack Obama and the Harry Reid-led Senate. The current Administration has showed zero leadership and interest in listening to the voice of the American people. Our 'Rallying for Victory' tour through Florida will be an exhibition of the Tea Party's strength and determination in pursuing and promoting Tea Party values.

 

"Florida is a key state in the presidential election campaign and one in which the future direction of the country could be determined. This will be the place to reject the Obama policies of promoting his big government, liberal policies that have killed job growth and added trillions of dollars of debt. It is critical to have an energized and engaged Tea Party electorate, just like we saw in 2010 as the Tea Party movement elected more Republican state legislators since 1928 and more Republican congressional representatives since 1948.

 

"Our 'Rallying for Victory' bus tour will bring together local and national Tea Party activist to raise awareness of the Tea Party movement and the conservative principles that will put this nation back on the path to prosperity. It is an opportunity to inform the American people that there is a free-market solution to get the economy on the right track and that the president's actions have not accomplished what he has promised," Kremer concluded.

 

The Tea Party Express plans to make stops in Jacksonville, Winter Park, West Palm Beach, The Villages, Gainesville, Panama City and Pensacola. The Tea Party Express will be joined by conservative leaders from across the country and will provide a platform for Presidential candidates to present their Tea Party qualifications. This action alert for Seniors in Florida who can attend the rallies is only one of the ways 912 Super Seniors is encouraging seniors to stand up for America's freedoms and prosperity.  The continued efforts at informing friends, family members and doctors, through the healthcare pamphlet available on our site at

 www.912SuperSeniors.org is having an impact.

 

At our local 912 Super Seniors meeting in my community we are practicing what we call " 30 second elevator speeches". If you stepped on an elevator and had a 30 second ride with a person you have been wanting to impress what would you say?

 

That is our premise in constructing our short statement to catch the attention of the person  beside us in the grocery line, or waiting next to us in a doctor's office...or anywhere we see a chance to speak one on one and start a conversation.

 

With practice our members are becoming more effective Paul Revere's than they would have thought possible.  Instead of  "The British are coming" , we are warning of the coming changes to the availability of doctors, the closing of 17% of hospitals, the Accountable Care Organizations who will deliver healthcare and be paid to cut costs per Senior, etc.

Through the next nine months we dare not choose to sit on the sidelines, complain to our friends and trust that all will turn out well.  Previous attacks, in our lifetimes, on America's freedoms have looked different and called for a different response.  The current attacks which are more insidious but definitely eroding our freedoms require our action just the same.  We must commit to educating those around us and doing something every day to affect America's future. 

 

Wear your flag pin, inform your children, educate your grandchildren, find and inform seniors isolated and unconnected, practice and use your 30 second speech and spread the healthcare pamphlets everywhere. Volunteer at the headquarters of the candidate of your choice. 

 

YOU ARE THE ONE PERSON WHO CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
