Actions speak louder than words. Do you speak loudly and often of your doubts regarding the sanity of our politicians? Do you marvel at the inane policies bankrupting our country and alienating our allies? Do you address your diatribe to that inanimate object, the TV, while your spouse tunes you out once again.

When Glenn Beck first called on Seniors to use their collective knowledge and experience to help a country on fire, and on that show I spoke of a new concept, the 912 Super Seniors, Glenn's impetus and mine were exactly the same as yours. We were motivated by concern for our country and frustration at the state of our nation.
Glenn Beck and I, at the same time and in the same ways as you, were looking at huge problems in America and realizing each of us must find answers.

Since that show and Glenn's request for our help, hundreds of Seniors have helped and in many ways. Some of you are faithfully tracking food inflation in our COLA project. Many of you are printing the healthcare pamphlet from our homepage and sharing copies of it in the places you go on your regular week's routine.
Now it is time for each of us to make sure our actions speak at least as loudly as our words. The clip from that show includes Glenn's sincere admiration and love for his own grandparents as he recalls some of the best memories of his life were days he spent with them.
By taking action, we grandparents have an opportunity to educate the children in our lives in a way that will help to preserve their freedoms.
"Constitutional Champions", a program created by a non-profit organization, CCF, provides education for youth on our constitution and founding fathers and on living the principles and values necessary to strengthen and restore our country.
This program provides a "Patriot Camp" experience spread over any 5 days and lasting 2.5 hours each of those days.
At Patriot Camp, children will be sent on a daily journey back to the founding of our nation and learn the truth about our history and the impact faith had on both the founding fathers and the foundation of our country.

The Patriot Camps are being held at schools, churches, camps and community centers and even as part of family vacations. If your grandchildren come for a summer visit the Patriot Camp can be your shared experience and you might want to include a few friend's grandchildren as well. Some parents are holding the camp in their back yard for their children and neighborhood friends.
What an amazing way to accomplish something... something far more productive than lecturing an unresponsive TV. As you still recall exact instances when your grandparents talked with you and taught you by their words and by their actions, so the children you love will always remember the lessons you teach.
