Greetings!
Now that we have leaped the hurdle of the Ohio Attorney General and the Secretary of State's Ballot Board, we move onto the next mountain to conquer. I feel like Israel must have felt when they finally left the wilderness and crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land only to discover that the six-feet-thick walls of Jericho awaited.
While pursuing "liberty and justice for all" Ohioans, our faith will be tested. Joseph had to spend years in prison before he became second in command in Egypt. Will you help us pay the price? Will you help us conquer these obstacles in Jesus' name? "With God all things are possible" - especially His will, and it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish (Matt. 18:14). |

| Personhood Ohio Named in Lawsuit Before the Ohio Supreme Court
Fresh out of a victory before the Secretary of State's ballot board, we discover that an abortion advocacy group "Healthy Families Ohio" has filed a lawsuit before the Ohio Supreme Court to try to derail the Ohio Personhood Amendment. They also sued the Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine and Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted.
We want to thank "Healthy Families Ohio" for revealing themselves to be anti-choice tyrants. They don't want Ohio to have the opportunity to vote on an issue that costs 25,000 Ohioan
 | | Healthy Families Ohio thinks that a "healthy family" is a family that kills its children |
babies their lives every single year. Personhood Ohio wants the voices of the Ohio people to be heard, and we are committed to fight this grievous injustice in Jesus' name. "Healthy Families Ohio" must think that we are a genuine threat to Ohio's child-killing businesses, and we wear that as a badge of honor. To be cursed by God's enemies for righteousness' sake is to be blessed by God indeed. We are not going to give up until the scourge of child-killing in Ohio has ended and every preborn Ohioan is protected under state law.
What can you do to help us fight them? Pray that they will fail to delay our signature-gathering. Pray that Ohioans will be offended that this abortion advocacy group would have the audacity to sue to forbid them from signing the Ohio Personhood Amendment petition. Pray that Planned Parenthood, which receives 350 million dollars annually in taxpayer money, will be defunded and come to nought. Pray that we will have the funds necessary to fight this frivolous lawsuit before the Ohio Supreme Court. (They're even demanding the Supreme Court to force us to pay their legal fees!) Please donate here, and help us expose "Healthy Families Ohio" with a letter to the editor of your local paper. Thank you so much for your prayers. "Without Him we can do nothing." |
| 9.5 Ounce Premie Defies Odds
American Vision News reported that a 9.5 ounce premie beat all the physicians' expectations and is expected to go home from the hospital this month. She was so small she could fit into the palm of your hand. She was smaller than a can of soda.
USA Today reported on some previous cases where stunningly small babies survived: "One is a healthy first-grader, the other an honors college student majoring in psychology. Once the tiniest babies ever born, both girls are thriving, despite long odds when they entered the world weighing less than a pound."
The Guttmacher Institute reports that approximately 4% of abortions are done on babies that are this mature. That means of Ohio's 25,000 annual abortions, 1,000 are killed that are old enough to survive outside the womb.
If they are people in the eyes of the law once they leave the womb, why aren't they people when they are still in the womb at the same age? How does your location change your value? Some children in the womb are even treated by the law as full persons; if someone kills a pregnant woman, the perpetrator can be charged with a double-homicide. Intentionally killing a preborn baby can result in the death penalty under Ohio law. Why the discrimination against the baby if the mother and her doctor are the perpetrators of the crime? Shouldn't justice be equal?
Ohio law is sick, and the just must fix it. Help us protect the right to life of every preborn Ohioan in Ohio law. God's Word says that criminal justice is local (Deut. 9). Protecting Ohioans from death by abortion is firmly in the lawful jurisdiction of our state
government. Envision "liberty and justice for all" in Ohio, and help us gather signatures to put the Ohio Personhood Amendment on the ballot by Election Day 2012.

"Personhood, A Pragmatic Guide to Prolife Victory in the 21st Century and the Return to First Principles in Politics" by Georgia Right to Life President Dan Becker. "History will one day look upon the movement to affirm the personhood of unborn children in the same way we now look upon the abolition of slavery and the end of the Holocaust. Dan Becker's book advancing personhood for the most vulnerable among us is like a sound of the trumpet that will reverberate throughout time... It is a must read." Mathew D. Staver, Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty Univ. School of Law
"The Revolt of 2020" by Personhood Ohio director Dr. Patrick Johnston.
Follow the adventures of David Jameson's family as they practice their faith under the watchful eye of a federal government that is increasingly hostile to pro-life activists. In the fires of testing, David influences Texas' executive leadership to resist judicial tyranny and ban abortion statewide. (The second in the Trilogy, The American Tyranny of 2020, is also available.) "Downright exciting and God-honoring... You will not want to put it down." Flip Benham, Operation Save America Director

"Forty Years in the Wilderness" by American Right to Life leader and Denver Bible Church Pastor Bob Enyart. "The Bible says 'Without a vision, the people perish.' So many pro-life activists have not conquered the Promised Land of 'liberty and justice for all' because they have no vision for it. Of those who do envision it, many of them owe that vision to Pastor Bob Enyart. I am one of them." Dr. Patrick Johnston, Assn. of Pro-Life Physicians founder and director

What You Can Do To Help

You can help us throw out the life raft to the 25,000 innocent babies who are killed by abortion every year in Ohio. How?
1.Gather signatures! We need lots of signatures. Take petitions to your church, to Christian concerts, to festivals, to gun shows, to your workplace - wherever people congregate, and ask them to sign your pro-life petition. Print out petitions HERE. 2. Recruitsignature-gatherers! Print out petitions and hand them to your friends at church. Tell them we can make Ohio the first state in the nation since Roe v. Wade to protect every preborn child. 3. Pray! God's Word says if we ask anything in His name according to His will, believing that we have received it, it will be ours. (See I Jn. 5:14-15; Matt. 18:14; Matt. 21:21-22.) 4.Give Creative Donations! To motivate and award signature-gatherers, will you donate a gift certificate, a rifle, a used car, a diamond necklace, football tickets - anything that could be awarded to someone who gathered the most signatures in a given month? If your business donates it, it could be categorized as an advertisement cost; we'll promote you in our letters received by 20,000 Ohioans. 5.Give Financially! Every gift will be used solely to pass the Ohio Personhood Amendment. Give HERE. God rewards us according to our sacrifice, so give generously. Whoever gives to the poor lends to the Lord (Prov. 19:17), and in our society, no one is as poor as the threatened preborn. 6.Endorse! Please mention the Ohio Personhood Amendment to your family and friends, and "like" us on facebook by clicking . Encourage others - your pastor, your state rep, your friends - to do the same. 7.Be a Missionary in Ohio! Instead of having your church's youth group go to Mexico this year, encourage them to spend a week gathering signatures for the Ohio Personhood Amendment. Scratch Walt Disney and store up some treasures in heaven as a missionary to the preborn this spring break. Help us stuff envelopes in the coming weeks. 8.Make Phone Calls to Leaders! This week, we sent letters to every state rep and state senator, and to sixty Ohio pro-life leaders, asking for their help and support. We're sending letters to every church in Ohio in the coming months. Will you follow up every letter in your area with a phone call? It makes the letters much more effective at soliciting help. 9.Register Voters! We have a link on our website to help register pro-lifers. Click HERE to register, and spread this link to your friends and neighbors to encourage them to register to vote. 10.Write for Personhood!Google "Ohio Personhood Amendment" and you'll find dozens of news articles that have been written recently. Often, you can blog on those articles at the bottom of the page. Make a comment and stand up for the right to life. Visit TEA Party and Republican blogs and promote the Ohio Personhood Amendment. Email a letter to the editor in your local paper. |
