Show Some Love To The People You Care About!
Valentines Day is a day to be cognizant of showing love to those that are special in your life. Some people buy gifts, such as flowers, chocolates, diamonds, or pearls. Others create an experience such as massages, specials dinners, night on the town, or romantic evenings.
All of these ideas are great and exciting, hoping to receive something special myself. But, God shares with us, in His word, a few other ideas about love. In the Book of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, the word of God teaches us the real meaning of love.
1. Patient
2. Kind
3. Does not envy
4. Is not Jealous
5. Does not boast(vain)
6. Is not proud(conceited, arrogant)
7. Is not rude
8. Is not self-seeking
9. Not resentful(angered)
10. Keeps no record of wrong done
11. Does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness
12. Rejoices when right and truth prevails
13. Protects
14. Trust
15. Hopes
16. Perseveres
17. Unfailing
A diamond is forever, but forgiveness gives life to the recipient. A box of chocolate is sweet, but hope empowers others to press forward in the mist of a storm or while trying to pursue a dream. a night of romance can be enduring, but unfailing, unconditional love gives a person courage to face the world.
